  i don't know Scott . i'm gonna look into different hosting . there is still 22 more pages in that thread to go and i got 5 more like it i need to update . don't want to have to go through it all again when or if it does not work any longer . but i really do appreciate your help !

  It's probably one of those sods law situations. If you get a different host the PB fix will last forever, if you don't get a different host, the fix will break right after you've changed all the links. But it looks like a great forum and your pictures are a very valuable contribution.

  No I am not happy with that, it was just I am not sure how or where to place thw ~original at. With the procedure I did

  Okay, well if you want to try posting the PB image again on your blog then we can have another go at it. But just imagine that the PB links work fine for the moment and ignore the fact that all you'll get is the speedo image, then we can go on from there.  : )

  Or you can try posting it here if you like.

  Hi Guys

  Just a quick follow up to what I posted earlier about Imgur. I use it solely for posting images here. There is an option to disable inappropriate/offensive content in the settings, again though I don't know how effective it is, but unless somebody actually goes out of their way to query the URL of the original image then nobody can see who the hoster is.
  Entirely a personal thing but an option that's there if someone is looking.

  Hope you solve your problem woodoworkery, with Scott on your side I'm thinking "no contest".

  Gary , i went with ZioMio's suggestion from page one and went with Postimage . let you know what i think in a couple days . the thread in my speaker forum that me and Scott were talking about had 89 images alone ! i have loaded them now in Postimage and will begin the process of of changing out the Photobucket speedo's ...

   

   Scott , one thing i can't understand is not all of 89 were speedo's although all were from Photobucket ....

  I can only suggest that with millions of customers and billions of images, applying the changes to all the free accounts takes a while to filter through and don't forget about browser caches too. Only guessing though.  : )
