    You're kidding?

    You have to be kidding.

A 3 MINUTE commercial before a match game and then I get disqualified?

WGT has reached a new low.

    Hey RenoRick,

Advertisements this long should not be appearing. If you can remember or if you see it again, please let us know the Ad Provider logo at the bottom so that we can contact them to have it removed immediately. Just email the information to Members@worldgolftour.com

    Cheers,

it is for a weight loss pill and it is 180 seconds which is 3 minutes...

Very annoying to watch and something that most of us are not interested in

Install either Adblock or Adblock plus and no more ads. I prefer Adblock as Adblock plus allows some ads to get through.

I completely understand that the site uses commercials for revenue that keeps the site on line for the enjoyment of all of us. However, I am in complete agreement that some very long -as in a minute and half - is over the top, extremely annoying, and is about as intrusive as it gets.  One such ad is Opidvo.  When I see that one pop up, I just sign off.  That means that my CC doesn't get the pass points and any other ads that might be viewed are not.

There have been suggestions by others to incorporate an AdBlocker, but that does not always work. I would also respectfully suggest that it's not my job to police the site when it easier just to log out.

Overly intrusive ad pop ups on this site makes my experience with this site less than a positive one. And, I suspect that I am not alone in that feeling.

I'm not sure I understand it at all. What I spend on balls eclipses the click revenue.

It is annoying in the extreme. I use safari on a mac and no combo of settings I've found will block the ads. Nor should I have to... that solution belies the very logic that some cash stream is necessary. I will try to report this, but I am worried that my reputation will be impacted if I get kicked anymore for having to wait a few minutes multiple times a night.

It should be possible to set ad exposure by spending threshold. That's certainly the courteous thing to do.

    Joe

I use the Slimjet browser with a built in ad blocker. No meter issues and no ads.
