I was a member of a country club a month or so ago and then after a gap i am playing again but it seems that i am no longer a member of any club what has happened can anyone suggest anything?

Ownership booted you because you were absent. Some clubs are very strict that way.
My suggestions:
- you quit inadvertedly (it's one click only),
- they dropped you (?due to inactivity?)
- the CC was deleted.
You might want to ask the owner if he will re-invite you(?)
