    Hi, how ya doing

recently purchased the course notebook and finding it quite useful - especially for the greens.

However, it will only open 'Front & Centre' which (to put it mildly) is a pain.

I've tried everything I can think of the get it Smaller & it would also be great to get it moved to the side of the screen, and that way I could leave it open all the time.

    Has anybody done this ?

Many thanks for any help you can offer.

    Hi David.

The course notebook can be useful but its functionality is very basic. To the best of my knowledge it is not customisable at all, so what you see is what you get unfortunately.

If you are wanting it left open at all times so you can refer to it during play then your best bet might be to use an external notepad program and have that running.

I think that Gary Pinhunter  has one of those on his web site (notepad program)

There is no reason that I can think of to have the notebook open at all times, When you're on a particular hole, just click on it and enter or read your notes. Just like taking a notebook out of your pocket when you're on a real golf course.

I use Notepad with a folder for course notes and sub folder for Ctth's. Every Course and every hole has a page. Before I play I just open the page and when i want to view it I just click the icon on my taskbar.
