    David,

I think we all understand your anger and frustration about what happened.  Even over something worthless like the coins. A natural reaction as no one likes to be scammed.

You and others who this has happened to thinking it hadn't been brought up before and that WGT will do something about this ongoing problem now is a pipe dream,  Regular reading of the forum might have kept this from happening to you this time.

Many people on this site are friendly, well meaning and honest.  However some are not, and the scammers seem to flock to the mobile platform to do this.  WGT shows no sign of doing anything about it.  Beware in the future.

Again best advise now is to make friends and only play them for coins, etc.

    Good Luck,

    Jeff

    David

There are certain rooms to play challenges in Mobile platform as i have played them myself, stick to the slightly lower pay out rooms like the Casablanca(i think),i have played them myself and have had no problems so far and have actually made some friends from there,Good luck bud.

PS  If you like playing 1 v 1 matches i just played in a mobile Tournament which was very friendly and a good challenge and im pretty sure there will be another one coming soon,so keep an eye on the community organised tournaments thread.

David, because of the turf war clashes I play a few coin matches and it happens quite a bit when the opponent jumps out of the game if losing. what you need to do is come out of the app without closing the match, then enter the app again and it will bring up a screen asking the forfeiter to reconnect (usually 45 seconds), let that run down and you get the win. I always do this is I think a bad loser has the game without officially forfeiting

    good luck

Maybe I’m wrong here as I’m new to the game. I play mobile 90% of the time, and in the 1v1 games you are put on a timer. If you miss your time then you are given a warning. The second time you miss your timer you are disqualified and loose the round. All coins go to the other player regardless who is in the lead at the time. I just had this happen to me today. I was playing 1v1 and my opponent missed his time 2x’s. even though we had a 2-stroke lead on my it disqualified him and gave my all the coins.

Is this not the same on the PC game?

Thank you guys for the constructive and helpful advice. Much appreciated and I have only been playing about 10 months I think so I'm learning daily still. The CC option is great. Had NO idea what they were for. I just grabbed my phone and golfed once in awhile.

Mahalo nui loa and see you out there!

Yep Seve...that's how it's supposed to work. I always play mobile and 99.9% of the timei see that. I also reset the game and get the timer when someone leaves. These "Cheaters" somehow have found a way to get the screen to show up without a timer and when I reset the coins are gone. Even if I wait an hour to reset. Maye they can go to their profile and click add friend or SOMETHING that freezes it up. I know it's intetonal because 1 hack told me he was stealing my coins and did the exact same thing. LOL...I was....stunned.

Was just looking for anyone with experience in this issue and maybe some constructive advice.....wrong board I guess for that.

    Hi David

I've been playing for about 5 years and from what I've read is that the 'mobile' game seems something of a rip-off from start to finish. If you can, try the pc version. Seems to me that wgt award 'coins' that have absolutely no use whatsoever.

Don't weaken David. In the end the game is worth it. The vast majority of the folks are great, and you'll soon identify the others. The people that are responding now, after a few wisecracks, seem to always be willing to help. Best, Jim

This didnt work for me and this is an old thread and the problem continues.  I actually played a higher stakes room tonight and the guy left practically before my ball stopped because the screen flashed so i would be inside 10 ft on a par 3.

I waited for him to come back n case it was accidental but obviously it was intentional and he scammed me out of a near certain win.  This issue needs fixed because it is like stealing when the person clearly gave up and quit.  My account was not credited with the win so his had to be... this is a bug and needs fixed!  Otherwise wgt is allowing a known problem to persist and enabling cheaters to essentially take coins from the player that deserved the win.
