playing consecutive days

  Hello,

  does anyone know, if there is a possibility to get kind of a "time out" on playing consecutive days?

  I have been playing for over 550 days in a row now - I know others did much more, congrats! -, but I will go on vacation to Canada - travelling the national parks - and I am quite sure internet won't be available there, at least not at the speed required for the game.

  I'd highly appreciate your suggestions!

  Only way I know to keep your CDs is - if you have a smart phone download the app then play a 3 hole practice round every day your gone, it only takes about 20gb of Data. But if you miss a day :((

  Good advice!

  Even better: You only need to play the first tee shot to get the CDP!
  Put the Starter balls into play before leaving home => no WGT costs!

  Tell the dog sitter it's part of the job to play 1 shot a Day to keep Jasper Happy!

  Thanks for the advice!

  I should have mentioned, I do already use the app.

  What I am worried about is, if internet was available in the national parks at the required speed?! If not, I just wouldn't be able to play.  :(   Therefore I am looking for a "time out".

  1 hole at practice setting will keep your cdp in tack. That's what I do when I don't have time. Some national parks do have wi-fi as that is where I am now.

  Either way!

  @Seebie:

  Try to imagine what it would mean to you + your CC to lose the CDP.

  IMHO it's not too much, or nothing at all.

  For you, L99 would come later - is that of life-threatening importance?

  For your CC, L12 wouldn't be as near - that ain't relevant at all IMHO!

  It may also be positive to get out of the play-every-day spell (*) - nobody except you will know the new number!

  With a slow internet and phone, then the game doesn't always start. Which means it's not possible to play at all.
