mkrizan86: Agreed. But the putting stats show only that his distance from the pin is not that great and that 12% of his total made putts were from 10-25 feet. We have no idea how many he missed. They could've been from 10,01, he could've been playing unlimited tourneys, etc. But yes, surely not his first dance.
I know we discussed this before Jure but I think either you're wrong or I'm still not understanding what you're saying.
He has played 207 holes and had 288 putts. Two holed approach shots, so 205 putts holed and 83 missed.
Assuming what I think you're saying and it's % of his total made putts (we know that is 205) then from 0-5ft he made (35.42% of 205) 72.611. 5ft-10ft (22.92%) 46.986, 10-25ft (12.15%) 24.9075 and 25%-50ft (0.69%) which is 1.4145.
Firstly the numbers for the shortest and longest don't work, +/- .005 wouldn't bring them to a whole number, and the total comes to about 146.
Now assume that the %'s refer to the total number of putts taken (not just holed) 288. 35.42% = 102.0096, 22.92 = 66.0096, 12.15% = 34.992 and 0.69% = 1.9872. This gives the number of putts made, 205. as the total.
As he made 205 putts and 35 of these were from 10-25 feet that's about 17% of his made putts being from that distance.
I agree we don't know distances the missed putts were from.
I reckon ave dist to pin of 14ft so early is great and if you factor in he's probably reaching in less than regulation from these tees on a fairly regular basis ( that could be worked out too but I've had enough) then it's even better.
He hasn't been playing (at least finishing) unlimited tourneys. Overall I reckon a multi from a fairly good player, certainly better than me.
