In a way I feel for the programer. Hopelessly under-resourced and not even enough money allowed for a test. Hit the live button and if you get it wrong they wheel out some great big bloke wearing a tutu.............If Hitchcock were back he could write a watchable 30 minutes about that, unless you wanted to play the fkin thing that is:)

The embedded HTML editing routine has, as far as I know, been working since day one of WGT forums. That means the programmer who put it together is probably long gone. Reaching out to the folk who run the HTML editor site that Scott found for us would probably speed things up, but of course, WGT might have to pay for the help.

I mentioned this before, but folk may not have known what I was referring to. I just keep "br" in less than/greater than brackets <>, twice in copy memory. Ctrl V pastes it. The result is pretty much the same as a paragraph. Used it here as a matter of fact.

The Problem worse than the paragraphing is the EDIT a Post, if you are Trying to update a list of Names and Scores in a club competition it comes up as a complete Garble like Alphabet soup. Thats the Problem l had in a Recent club competition l was running and l ended up useing Pencil/paper to keep up to date.

This place, WGT, is a complete disaster. If you don't like what is happening either stop or limit your play (meaning reduce your dollars spent at the site) or eat what they feed you. It's as simple as that. WGT is a joke.

    EDIT a Post
    That's a familiar name.

    :^)

I have a similar thread in CC where I keep people up to date in the first post.

Use the HTML editor in reverse.

Copy the gobbledygook from your edit screen.

    Go to Editor

Leave the window blank and go to html.

Paste the garbage there, then click Update

You'll then have it in familiar mode.

    Hope this helps.

I tend to agree Jim. They are working with an old system that has constantly been patched, and for some time has been at breaking point. They do as much as they can to keep the game play at an acceptable level.....and not a lot more.

I also think more time is spend on developing the mobile platform, and as a result the PC version has suffered. Perhaps it is the way of the future, however many of us are not interested in playing the game on that platform.

I actually feel for the mods, they are the ones that cop the flack......yet the reality is WGT still runs like a monopoly......and unless the actual game play is not playable....players will continue to play. Sure some will go, some will play less, but the WGT business model is based on turnover, not loyalty.
