Thanks - I've tried the editor now, too, and it's not bad (meaning not overly complicated). Still wish for the usual wgt edit bar, of course, because it was even easier, but if wishes were fishes, we know where beggars would ride.

Apologies, my post came off a little harsher than I actually feel, I was in a foul mood that day, being overworked and sleep deprived tends to have that affect ;-) I agree with what you say, paying customers certainly have the right to complain. My peeve is with the ones who do nothing but, while there are solutions out there............. P.S. Update gone and still no task bar.... (smh)........

cause their CCs have their own sites, which they use for communication and comps

I have been trying to get my CC to do that for as long as I can remember - I even built a website for them, but no-one bothered to use it.

So while I don't accept all in your comment (for example, paying customers have a bloody right to complain when sh!t goes wrong - it's not b!tching. And while I love playing with html, 99% of my fellow New Haveners haven't a clue, so they don't feel affected by this screw-up, they are affected by it), I must agree, sadly, with a lot of it.

You all remember the invisible invite glitch?

Our big thing was multiple weekend multiplayer bracket tourneys Stroke play and Match play through

    http://challonge.com/

Completely reliant on the WGT invite system

That glitch stopped us cold . By the time the glitch cleared up . Everyone had lost interest

A shame, cause there was an easy workaround. The invites were only invisible to newer friends, when sent from the gameclient. But if you closed it, went to your opponents WGT profile page and sent the invite from the "invite to play" tab, the invites came through just fine ;-)

Would this be any help to you Craig. Copy what's green into your post, and put your picture/gif URL in where I've indicated. (Don't remove the double quotes).

    <img src="PICTURE URL GOES IN HERE" style="max-width:100%">

well....I really start to wonder about WGT's priorities(or actually maybe not). Being able do add new features like ball effects (250c/100hits) but not getting back standard/essential ones like the edit bar for over one month now?

    Check this out-

    http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/499051.aspx

A player creates a new thread complaining about not getting three golf balls after he made some kind of purchase...and it only took 79 minutes for WGT to reply. That's right...one post in the thread and WGTChampion responds in 79 minutes.

Yet, here we are in a thread almost a month old, with almost 500 posts over about 50 pages...and you can hear a pin drop over here...the silence from WGT is deafening.

I'm heading over to that thread to badger Champion...anyone care to join me? (remember to stay on topic for part of your post).

    Hi Wayne

    badgering

Ready to badger! Just when you've stopped marvelling at the last SNAFU the next one comes roaring in!

I was led to believe it was a common courtesy to at least explain your mistakes. If not to apologise. To hear anything now would be adding insult to injury. As for all the unnecessary fiddling with balls, so to speak, I couldn't agree more. It certainly shows where the priorities lie.

Time for another alt-shot I think, been a while, and with all the millions playing surely we can find just two. Hmm... anyone tried it or are the numbers a little off maybe?

    Let's go badger..

    Cheers! Rich
