At least you received something! I'm still waiting word on a request that I sent asking for info on the new sponsership program. It's been on the board for a while now, and we only got bits and pieces from others on here. I haven't been able to find anything official on all that encompasses.

This downtime was to "fix bugs". What bugs were fixed? As usual during a downtime, they create more problems than they are trying to solve. WHY does that continue to happen? Lousy tech people? What?

a response I received from wgt on a question I sent them
I've seen similar. Looks more like a canned response than a legitimate addressing of specific concerns. That's what I've been getting from CS for quite some time now. I've had to keep following up to finally get someone to actually read my initial question.

My feeling on errors and mistakes by anyone or any company is......they happen. They always have and always will. The key to damage control is to admit the wrong and do everything possible to satisfy your customer that you sincerely regret what happened. Most people are understanding and some actually have sympathy for anyone who has made a bad mistake. We are all human ! To ignore the customer is just a recipe for disaster and a mildly pi$$ed off customer becomes infuriated. WGT seems to have proven this point with their handling of this latest clusterfukkk.....I guess they will never learn about the key.

Another way to make a new paragraph is to put in two consecutive line break tags <br><br>

If you do it that way you don't need paragraph tags.

Or if you want to start a new line,<br>
but not a new paragraph, <br>
    just one line break tag.

Exactly my feelings. Can you imagine a shop or garage treating you like this? You take your car in for an oil change but while doing that they put a big scratch in your paintwork. But they don't bother to come out and tell you about, say sorry and assure you they'll fix it free of charge. No, they just hang onto your car for days while they sort it out.

Leaving you to use the very efficient and well priced Scott Hope's Bus Service but it just ain't the same is it?

It should be pretty obvious, to most anyway, that there are not as many people working the 'wgt' side things anymore. I suspect that along with office staff there are only a couple of people still actively dealing with 'game/server' related maintenance and or coding issues.

TG has no interest in WGT as a business or game, the community of players even less with respect to the PC version of things. Their tie-in has to do with the mobile version and their entertainment business.

Customer service is all but non existent as it used to be, again probably falls to one person.

There has, and won't be anymore significant or game-play developments for the PC version, it would be idiotic to pursue anymore. They'll keep the game running as long as possible to keep the revenue stream going.

Game is what it is now, play it or don't...

Thx Scott for all your helpful tips so far throughout this thread.

I personally don't care much about that glitch since i got no need for posting stuff anymore but that ''br'' tip will be useful for when writing some PM's.
