cause their CCs have their own sites, which they use for communication and comps

I have been trying to get my CC to do that for as long as I can remember - I even built a website for them, but no-one bothered to use it.

So while I don't accept all in your comment (for example, paying customers have a bloody right to complain when sh!t goes wrong - it's not b!tching. And while I love playing with html, 99% of my fellow New Haveners haven't a clue, so they don't feel affected by this screw-up, they are affected by it), I must agree, sadly, with a lot of it.

Thank you Paul. No issues at all with us as per jure's statement. Except my welcome messages are suffering slightly.

The thing about the wgt club forum is its simplicity anyone can use it, plus you dont have to leave the wgt website just to go to the damn clubs forum and then back again to wgt, most people just want to keep it simple.

Paul, your right on. Same thing with me, I have created 3 websites and they draw interest at first and no one goes back to it.

If members are afraid of leaving WGT Website, all they have to do is in their browser settings make sure it opens a new tab. When done just close it.

It's to bad because much easier to run a special tournament. I have seen your website for Valley of the Sun. Impressive

    Don

One suggestion Dave, Put a link(Button) on your homepage on the website, that brings them back to the Club Homepage.

If you want to make a link look like a button, (here at WGT, not on other websites) you can do it by adding a class to your link.

    My LinkMy LinkMy Link

Your link, when looking at the HTML will look something like this....

    <a href="http://www.google.com" >My Link</a>

The 'href' is the web address of where you want the link to take you, in the above example, it's Google.

So, to give it the button styling, just add in the 'class' to the opening <a> tag. The class names for the three buttons are... button_green, button_blue or button_white. You should only add one class name depending on what colour button you want. So for a green button, your link would look like this...

    <a href="http://www.google.com" class="button_green">My Link</a>

    TIPS:
href = web address of where you want the link to take you.
class = the name of the style that is applied to your button.
My Link = the text in the button in my example.

    Have fun. ; )

(Think I might have misinterpreted Dons post, but nevermind, the info is still useful).
