    +1

Besides getting a quick response, they have always been more than fair with me...not just the occasional lost ball due to a glitch(which I've seen once in over a year), had a problem with a new putter once and it was handled promptly, and professionally....

I wasn't - I'm not - talking about the department, rather the concept. For the record, the department has (or rather those therein have) never been anything other than polite & helpful when I have found it necessary to contact them. If anyone thinks WGT has provided its customers with any sort of service over the forum/PM/etc issue, congratulations, I'm speechless.

COULD BE WE'RE NOT  MISSING THE POINT, JUST NOT AGREEING WITH YOU.

I've always found the CS department here on WGT to be absolutely wonderful whenever I've required assistance.

Special mention must also go to the moderators, especially Icon & Champion, both are easily the best moderators to ever, ever, ever grace the whole of the internet.*

*Any speculation that the above was posted in the hope of improving my recent run of utter crap scoring is entirely coincidental.

Or more to the point, people didn't care what his point was and decided to take the conversation in a different direction.

That happens, both on discussion boards and real life. Conversations have their own life that's not always controlled by the person who started the conversation.

In the couple of rare instances I have contacted CS they were quick to respond. One time it took me away from this game for a long time. Won't bring it back up, dead horse has been buried. I feel that moderation is at times too quick. Lack of addressing issues with the game is slower than molasses in January. Any time one of the mods sided with the masses they seemed to vanish in thin air very quickly. I really have nothing bad to say, but am hard pressed to give a passing grade. After all, the CS department is bound in chains to do exactly what the execs in the big offices say and nothing more. Can't blame the little people for the limits they have to satisfy the customers. They are like the orange vests at a big box store, you ask them where something is and get this response, I don't know, I'm supposed to stand here and say good morning, welcome.

Now that's funny!  Hope it works for you and if it does let me know.  I could use some improvement in my game as well.  LOL!
