  Thanks to everyone who saw fit to vote for me, it is a great honour to be elected Captain, and I will do my best to do you all proud.

  Thanks to all the other candidates, I have been told that the vote was close, and there were some very strong contenders, who all would have been great Captains if they had been elected. I think the way each candidate comported themselves throughout the election process was excellent, and showed what great players they are.

  Congratulations to JC, I look forward to working with you in advance of the competition, and of course doing battle in October. I have been thoroughly impressed with the way JC runs the Hustle, and know he will be a tough strategist, extremely well organised and a superb competitor with the sticks in hand.

  Good luck to all players during the qualification process, I will be looking to play with as many of you as I can in the next few weeks as the team takes shape.

  Thanks Kam and Bogey. And thank you to everyone for their vote. I am excited and honored to serve as captain for the US Team. I have already begun recruiting and looking forward to matching up with a good World Team and competing against Kam.

  US Team, please be sure to tell your wgt friends about this or anyone else whom you might compete against. I want to have as many US players qualifying as possible to ensure we get a great team.  A few of our stronger players have already indicated to me that they will not be playing this year, so we will need to be deeper and stronger still.

  yes its not to late to qualify just play and post scores for the July open and kiawah monthly scores will be verified after posting  good luck.

  Good to see that both the US Open Champion and the British Open Champion from wgt will be playing for the red, white, and blue squad come October for the WGT Ryder Cup!

  Yep, congrats to both and good luck to the last few who are still waiting to play their July qualifiers. And remember if you miised June and you miss July you´re out of the qualifying, so post your scores however high they may be!!!
