I noticed my name was removed from the qualifier spreadsheet. Is that because I am captain?  Is it possible to have it added back on there. Ideally, I would like to play only if I can make the top 10.

I just reread the rules for captains on the title page and now realize that I was supposed to declare before voting if I was a playing captain or not. I read this to mean captains automatically play? If that is the case, I guess I understand now why my name was removed. Please confirm. And if it is not too much trouble please add my name so my loyal team knows I'm not a freeloader! :)

BTW, you guys are doing a great job managing this process as a team. Keep up the great work.

Hey, JC, if you are planning to play it would be better if you could say so now because, given that you qualify automatically, you are taking points away from other possible qulaifiers who do need those points. But you don´t have to say it now if you really don´t want to, so... let us know what you wanna do and I´ll try and get you back on there if that´s what you want.

Thanks Seve. What I really want is the best 10 qualifiers on the team. Period. If that means I don't make it, then I would sit out and just captain.  However, if I need to choose now, I would play.

Also, I realize the spreadsheets take a lot of effort on your part and I was trending to make the top 10. So if it is easier for you, just consider me playing and leave me off the spreadsheet and I will remind everyone it will be the top 9 instead of top 10 that are auto qualifiers. No problem. Thanks again.

OK, if you don´t mind I think we will leave you off the spreadsheet as it would be a considerable amount of work to look up your scores and rearrange everything again. I think in these first two months you have already proved to the rest of the team that you would have been good enough to qualify.

Sorry, this idea came in a bit late...

Why don't you set up tournaments within a "Ryder Cup Country Club." Players can temporarily join it, play the tournament, then join back to their home country club. Then you can just copy and paste the names and scores from the WGT website.

    Does this make sense?

    Not a bad idea

Gents, please strike me from the qualifying list.  Ducking out of Ryder Cup.  Had a blast last year but the meter has gotten so bad in the last month I've totally lost my desire to play this game anymore aside from the occasional ready go.

    Thanks,

    Jake
