TROW looks solid.....good luck and play well all. I am sure with that team you will definitely give the American squad a good run.

    Let the fun begin

    Team USA Update

I must admit, this may be my least favorite part of the captain process: the wildcard selection. There are so many deserving players and only two spots.  I have consulted my team and asked them for their suggestions on those final two spots and toyed with the idea of a playoff. After much consternation and input, the USA team names as its final two wildcard players...

    Win1soon & Bartmania

Again, I would have relished the opportunity to compete alongside all of you and hope to continue to play with each. I hope that you will  Again, nothing personal, and as someone who was frequently picked last on the playground, I mean no disrespect. If you wish to message me personally I would be happy to discuss how I arrived at the decision.

I hope you all please cheer on and help team USA!!

Also, I will be out of town for the next few days, but back on Monday to announce our Alt Shot pairings. In the meantime, I recommend team USA set up a few practice alt shot matches against each other to get a feel for chemistry, etc... Brush up on all the angles of Congressional. Looking forward to the competition.

Congrats to Bart and Win1 for getting the final nod from JC. I'm sure it's going to be a mighty tussle going forward so may the best team win!

Congratulations to all who have made Team USA, we are looking forward to the competition with great anticipation.

Quick one to JC, crude humour aside, lets not let this become like 'The War on the Shore' of 1991. We are Team World and the USA is itself a multicultural society, it is entirely possible that first and second generation relatives of the 166,000 souls who lost their lives in Hiroshima are WGT players and are reading this post.

Very well said Monty and I whole heartedly agree.  I am quite certain that JC did not mean anything by it and its just one of those things that people say without putting much thought into.

On another note, congrats to all that made it, including the wildcards Bart, Win1, TAP and Priestess.  I am really disappointed, as I am sure many are, to be sitting on the sidelines, but you can't argue the strength of both teams!  Should be a fun battle.  Have fun everyone.

I very humbly and graciously thank you all for choosing me to be one of the two captain's picks.  I know that process is not easy on the captain.....so thank you JCO.  I won't let you down!

To "The World" team I say.......let's rumble!!!!!!  Good luck, everyone!!!

Fairplay and dignity, respect your opponents and be gracious in defeat and humble in victory.

may the challenges be well fought and may friendship's be formed and may the overall winner be the great game of golf.

let the journey to victory begin

    may the best team win.
