All I'm saying is that others might judge you the same way you judged Etienne.
Judge away, clashes make a mockery of the game of golf as it was intended. Tell me, what do you get for all those 37 cent purchases? How many balls did you say? Oh, none. I guess that means you don't mind throwing away your money and getting nothing in return.

I won't even address the silly baseball reference, it's obvious you know nothing about it.

p.s., Using the cheapest decent ball, I spend less on them in a month than a night out at a local diner costs. And since the wife is scared to death to go outside, I don't even spend that. And the last time I spent anything on equipment was when the Vapors came out. How long ago was that?

Whichever way it's cut the clash is an auction if the points lists (I can't call it a Lboard) are looked at. Calling it a competition would suggest some degree of skill being involved and as none is needed, or even usually apparent, it's appeal is limited. As far as limited appeal goes though it's a quick dodgy $ ...................You don't see many clubs complaining about one finishing top of the list each time as most think it's barking, to be frank.

I don't understand why some people have such vitriol for the clashes. I usually play 3-5 every go. I use the free passes and the super passes. so really my only cost is the golf ball. what i don't get is if for some reason you don't like the format. then don't play it. go goof off playing something else. play other tourneys, play mobile if the clash overloads your computer, or go play real golf or bang the wife. WGT is in the business of making money. Frankly i spend 10x what WGT costs on cigars and booze while i play. WGT is Cheap entertainment.

I can't figure out how anyone could knock the Yankees, been America's team since the late 50s. It's been said , that the finest compliment ever, is imitation. Every team tries to be like the Yankees. Enough said!

Missing the point that most raise...................Yes you would be several $s of dollars short of what some spend to "win" the thing anywhich way (EDIT: but choices so all good). It is the only thing they offer CC v CC wise, and anyone can win it with near ZERO ability.........Some other issues in this thread and elsewhere, but a badge for zero ability I think is silly even if they do cross zero through and write winner ......

Do you think that if the georgian players got up and just shanked every shot . that they would be the first place team ?

Not really much of an endorsement for skill being able to avoid that:).... I never mentioned the G as their choice, but it's why most* will not gear up for that thing (I can't use the word competition for). EDIT:*Lack of skill needed part just for clarity.

I really don't think this is what WGT had in mind for the clashes. To have one club dominate, isn't good.

The idea was great, I just wish it had better incentive to play it. Most clubs can't even compete with them.

The"G" Club is doing everything within the rules, but I refuse to bring my club to this kind of level. Speed Boosts and buying tons of passes are for someone else .
