Ah okay E so at least you acknowledge that you said it as you denied it back then and it may be an opinion but to call a player a cheat with no proof and especially one of your fellow CC members..........Well that sums it up.........Enjoy your day my friend.

Why are you here if you don't like it ??
    Edit ( I was referring to overtheedge's Comment )
The way the question is worded is elementary. When asking a question be sure you word it so everyone can understand what you are referring too and why. BTW - Only 1 question mark was needed.
What are you ? The grammar police ....Perhaps you didn't understand the question .

I really don't think this is what WGT had in mind for the clashes. To have one club dominate, isn't good.
Having one club dominate can be a good thing....it should drive others to the next level. Look at what Tiger Woods did in his heyday.....he raised the bar for others....The reason why The G have stayed at the top? Lack of incentives in prizes and it is not skill based or fair

The idea was not great however - it was ill thought through and there was never any parity for size, nor was skill the primary factor. Without those, it was doomed to never be a successful as it could be.Incentives are the best driver for excellence....clashes fail that mark abysmally

To The Georgian....I say well done, I do not understand their drive, nor will I ever understand that....but they do have some good people at that club - if they continue to dominate the auction process, well done.

Your Spot on Alanti, I agree with you totally. The Georgian is a good club in a WGT world of Good clubs.

They want to spend money on Clashes, OK that's their prerogitive and good on them. I don't understand it either, I want my members to spend on equipment. Not Passes

    Don

*a reply to no one. I am the solitary member of a country club for the sole benefit of free shot/putter pal. I participate in clashes for the free course builder. I use the course builders to create custom courses to pump up the xp. I'm sure we can all agree that the clash concept isn't based on skill, nor should it be. If it were, clubs would merely load up on ringers and annihilate the competition. The current concept is far from perfect, but if we look at it realistically, it's the one event that has the most active members participating at any given time. In that, there is a measure of success. If it's competition I'm after, WGT provides a plethora, nay - a veritable cornucopia, of other game formats from which to quench that thirst. If it's competition other clubs are after, I'm certain it would be easy enough to set up clashes against other clubs... Complaining about clashes makes about as much sense as blaming WGT for the shots we take.

Could have pointed out the too :-) By the way I knew who you were referring to, I still think what I said is true.

It's not that easy for CC's to "merely load up on ringers", or anyone else. Recruiting is a difficult and thankless job.
