I recently had a problem with my internet and could not log on to wgt, this was after a almost 400 days continuous run so I was back to day 1 through no fault of my own. Would it be at all possible to do some sort of (token) a get out of jail type thing. I am sure that strange things happen regularly where long runs are lost, this could prove profitable to wgt and to many club members.

It's tough Brian, We have all been there. I lost 460 days once, because of a hospital stay. I fixed that by getting a tablet for emergency purposes. I also have the app on the phone and two computers. You can see I wasn't happy either. Don't let it get to you, just start another run and you will get back up there.

No offence intended, but such thoughts and actions show me that they got you by the balls!

Lost my CDP at around 780 days. I still believe it should have been restored. But it wasn't. We're not the first that's happened to and won't be the last. Life goes on.

They have given you a get out of jail card.........this means liberation.

No longer do you need to worry about something as meaningless as CDB.....after all, what real benefits do you get?

In effect, WGT have introduced a fee for boosting CDB - with the change in system and adding Premium Membership......but why not add a "Missed CDB, Get Out Of Jail Free Card", a mere 5000 credits to continue that missed streak.........additional revenue and the players will then feel forced to keep up that meaningless run.......everyone wins.....

I agree with alosso.......anyone with that mentality is firmly under WGT's control

Edit: I am on my best run for well over a year....10 successive days....which will be gone in 2 days time lol as I travel again.....

What is interesting is that WGT does not post on each players profile page how many CDP a member has completed. We seem to have to do these CDP runs for our own amusement and pride. Since so many members are hooked, WGT should post CDP where everyone can see thus making it even more material that members play every day. They might even post a chart on the WGT Home page, much like the winnings chart, of the 10 (or 50 or 100) highest CDP's on WGT.

I recently lost my CDP due to a hospital stay. I contacted Customer Service and they generously reinstated them. Its worth a try. Mike (donko58)

No they don't. Granted, you don't get anything spectacular but to some there's a sense of achievement, however trivial. Just because it's meaningless to you doesn't mean it's that way for others. Why else would players still bemoan losing 1880 days?

I myself have rather boxed myself into a corner of sorts. I get over 5000 XPs a day if I keep going. Nothing to write home about but a fun aside to a fun game. :-)

Unlike those who have over 17,000 posts to the discussion board, eh? ;-) One way or another, we all demonstrate our commitment to or obsession with the game.
