                       You were the deserved victor, I'd a brainfart on #13 mixing a TW up with a HW & over-clubbing, All me :(

  Dan rarely put a foot wrong but when he did he didn't compound his error, He rescued the situation, He played two of the best recovery shots I've seen by anyone on any course/hole let alone Merion.

  On number 12 from the 40/50 off the tee he put It to a yard to the back pin & again on number 16 from the 40/50 he got It close enough to roll In the bird.

  Myself and the rest of our team from the SBH Fore screamers would like to thank everyone from the organisers to the other teams for a great tournament ..... I'm sure this will be echoed by many and I'm sure we have all met some great people and had some even better matches over the last few months.

  Thank you especially to Finny and some of the team Captains for their patience,  as i'm sure with other teams we've all had our fair share of changes, subs etc etc. 

  Until next time and all the best to to those left in for the Semi's and Finals of both comps.

  Vaibhav5viv won 1 UP vs Tdotdoba

  Was a tough one for us getting it played but was it worth it!

  Great game and even better chatting with Paul. I birdied the 1st 7 to go 4 UP. Great play from Paul after that to come back and level it up at 13. We traded birdies on 14,15 to keep it all square. Paul made a trickie birdie putt on 16 after I was stone dead and I did the same when it was the other way around. Probably hit my best shot on 18 to the back pin to clinch the game with a birdie.

  I won my match against amateur4sure 1 Up in overtime.

  It was a see-saw match. He went 1 Up on 3 with a beautiful shot that left him 4 ft. from the hole. I had a tricky 17 ft. putt 7 in. down that just missed the hole. I got it back to AS on 6 with a perfect shot that left me 1.5 ft. from the hole. I went 1 Up on 11, back to AS on 12, back to 1 Up on 13, back to AS on 14, back to 1 Up on 16, back to AS on 17, just missed my 16ft. putt on 18. I went 1 Up on the first hole in overtime.

  Thanks, Chris, for the great match. I really enjoyed it. Our chat was better than the game itself. A close match that could have gone either way.

  I just had a super match with Tom Tgkomv from Wooden Tees...Tom wins 1 up

  I can`t do a write up like Tom (cheers m8 lol) I`m not that clever but I can tell you all that fun was had all the way through, Some superb shooting and a few careless putts pfft made the game magical, Never more than 1 shot in it but was determined to give myself a chance when being 1 down on the 17th tee.

  Some craziness saw Toms ball travel through the green and leave him 20 yards away at back pin... I think I hit my best approach shot there ever to 4ft, Tom had a great effort at it but from 40-50% rough it was a bugger to stop but still had a 14ft putt to save par which he only just missed, So close. Tom conceded my putt for bird and onto the 18th A/S

  I left myself a 30+ putt after hitting really early and Tom was around 14ft away Gulp..

  Ouch I misread the break, Game putt for Tom that only just slid by Woooo

  Sudden death both leaving ourselves nice punch shots, Tom to 2ft super shot, I hit a late punch that left me a bendy 6 footer which I missed, Tom knocks in for game, set, Match.

  Lovely bloke, quality player and superb fun..

  Well done Wooden Tees, Our Matches have been seriously good fun played in the proper spirit of this wonderful Tournament .. Best of luck going forward Guys..
