I want to play with a friend but WGT says cross-platform is not supported. What can I do?

You could try a mobile emulator like Bluestacks....

Personally, I dislike the mobile platform. I find it difficult to line up shots, especially putts, and dinging is harder. Others seem to have much more success though, either because they are more used to it or they are simply better than I am.

An emulator program would allow you to play your friend on the mobile platform, but you would be limited to the mobile controls as well.

I don't think there are any rules against using an emulator. As I said, I dislike the mobile controls and wouldn't be able to match my scores on pc anyway (not that theyre all that great in the first place), but if the point is to play with a friend for fun, its an option.

I have heard of pc players using such emulators to allow them to participate in turf wars.

Perhaps someone here could verify whether or not an emulator such as BlueStacks is against any WGT rules? I can't imagine why it would be, as I dont see it giving any playing advantage. I am not, however, fully educated on the subject.
