I just raised a question myself! I am curious as to why, someone would ask if  a champion would be jealous of a legend?

Could have been a name change.      WGT says they don't do it but I know of at least one who got his name changed !  Had to do with his tool  bar when he was running his CC !

I answered his question with two options which he chose to ignore.

Furthermore, he reacted a tad hysterically to "Jealous??" - maybe I hit a nerve?

Oldbones is the last person I know who would get jealous or get hysterical ! As he said in a subsequent post, he was merely curious !!

    Hi,

Thats because, the particular account started from Facebook. Later on he/she wanted to start logging in n play from wgt.com.

Now if he/she decides to transfer the fb account to wgt.com with the tier n much more, then wgt will transfer it from fb to wgt.com but at the same time, wgt won't be able to transfer the ranked scores n history. Thats the limitation they have.

Ex: a champ with 0 ranked rounds.

Now in future if anybody want to transfer all the process from fb n start playing through wgt.com with all the ranked rounds n whatever details just like that from fb, all they need to do is just ask for a new password creation. In this case, you get a new password n start logging in n play with all the details exactly from fb wgt playing.

    Its all your choice,

    1) if you wanted to start the game as new with no records but maintaining the tier n username.

    2) transferring all the fb details just like that by a simple password creating with CS.

Now, I see many people seem touchy when somebody ask a curious question. Don't know why its such a big deal !!

    alosso:

    Facebook account?

    By allowance of the company?

    Why are you concerned? Jealous??

And people wonder why many players are afraid to ask a simple question here?

So true, pearljammmmer. I've often wondered how many honest questions go unasked simply because of the trolls here who love nothing more than to squash the person asking the question. (that said, Bring it On, Trolls!)

Bones, in addition to the other methods mentioned in this thread, I know of one other individual who had this happen. He's a Champion. Had some technical issues with his ID/Account. It wouldn't let him create a country club. After working with CS, they finally decided to let him choose a new ID name and transferred all his stats to the new name. The only thing they couldn't transfer was his record of game play. At first, it looked suspicious to me, but there was a simple enough answer.

To all you trolls who are about to hit the reply button, think about this...those of you who think you know everything, are quite annoying to those of us who do. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA <----- (laughing at myself...if you can't laugh at yourself, you shouldn't make fun of others)
