Good that you hate it; other people don't.  Not that hard.

Must already be cold and snowing in Canada, no sense of humor...

Anyway, it is good that you can show 1 example out of WGT Stats The #1 golf game with over 10 million registered players

Maybe you can find 2-3 more by Spring!

WGT once quoted the average age of its mostly male membership as about 44.

So its understandable that many of you don't like bright shiny things, especially since the ex wife took the ones you used to own.

Most that play this game don't post or even know these forums exist.  No point in looking for more there's no need.  It doesn't even need to be 50/50.  If it's 70 purists and 30 gimmick that's 30% more revenue for WGT.  Get it?  People like the gimmicks in the same way you don't, so again if you expand your thoughts instead of it always being me me me, it's not difficult to understand why WGT does some of the things they do.  Right?

I totaly agree with the first 2 posts.. The game is losing interest. Thankfully i made friends with some really good blokes, and we have played together every day for going on 3 years now. And our good health hopefully will keep it that way. Let's get back to making this game fun again without the gimicks.

but the mobile app sure is fantastic thoç i cant be bothered with the glitter here im too busy tryin to learn how to putt  i got no game until i do that.the only problem i have is that some of the holes look like big cracks in the the ground and my ball rides them without goin in. is that the way its supposed to? and then some holes it looks like something invisible blocking the hole and all of a sudden my ball just shoots to the left or the right.so i dont know i imagine someone already knows about those things but  i remember playin this when it first came out, and the improvements are steller at least they created a way for the guy who wants to sdd some things to  his golfer he or she can without havin to throw money at it.. buti im already so far in  that i had tyo create a country club so i know its only a matter of time before im going to start spending money and so what  things are pretty good around here if i could only learn to put   lol

I've played the mobile version since I started, 15 months now, and seen a lot of changes just in that short period.  You might think that they are concentrating on us, but I call it targeting.  First came the turf wars, bigger pain than the clashes, if your club is active, you end up in a war very week, or maybe sooner, then we play the clashes every 2 weeks. Then came the custom clothing for your avatar, hat, glove, shoes etc, now the ball effects,  every single one of these cost you credits.  If you don't want them, you're  still plagued with the advertising for it.  We can't set up tourneys, breaking it into separate tiers, it's all or nothing playing the same tee boxes.  If you want to separate tiers, you have to set up separate tourneys, limiting players by tiers, which cuts down the amount of tourneys you can run. Ok, sure we can play the coin games, but pc-ers can play a/s, skins, and courses that we can't. I don't call it a plus to play mobile, biggest advantage is the mobility of using my phone, or tablet anywhere I go.  But then again, try playing on a 5 inch screen, then say that it's easier.  Not!!!! It's all in what you want to make of it, I just don't think one is better than the other, and it's all in what a person wants from it.  The game itself is just a business, they will try to suck a dime out of you at every turn,,,if you let them.
