Again, as mentioned, in grammer, if something that is written as lasting from 6/13-7/18, that means from June 13th through July 18th. yes, through is what that means, so no, I am not wrong. You, however, are quite wrong.
So, despite posting that 7/18 is a qualifying day for Open qualifying, WGT ended the qualifying at the end of the 17th, their time. So, by server time, there was NO qualifying on the 18th, despite their tee off screen for the qualifier saying that qualifying lasted through the 18th. If this is the way they treat paying customers, I recommend we all stop being paying customers. I expect to get stepped on if I am not paying for their services. If I am paying $50-$100 a month, as I had been prior to this miscarriage, I expect to be treated with respect by the business I am investing my money in. Posting the 18th then closing qualifying on the 17th is not respectful of a paying customers wishes. I have sent WGT an e-mail, stating that barring the finish of the posted Q times, I will not spend another cent here, and I will loudly and vocally recommend no one else does either.
Perhaps, in this depressed economy, my money doesn't matter to them. Perhaps they don't need my $50-$100 as month, or anyone elses. They won't get any of mine,. and other than those of you who already qualified and don't seem to care about the rest of us getting jobbed, I hope everyone else follows the same tact and think several times before investing money in a business that treats paying customers in this way.
In my business, we close at 11. However, if an employee accidentally took a reservation for 11:30, we would stay open and honor it, and not let our employees mistake cost the paying customer. One of WGT's employees posted that the qualifying lasts THROUGH the 18th. They should honor it. That is the way respectable, reputable companies do business.
