    WGT PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS

    --------------------

    WARNING.

I was mid game when i ran out of my prefered Nikes. I elected to purchase more but after i did, it still gave me the starter ball. On the next tee it gave me the option to switch but when i tried i had to buy a new sleeve to do so, WHICH I HAD JUST DONE !!

So, as i use them, i did. Then on the next Tee, it did the same thing, starting with the starter ball or asking if id like to continue using my prefered Nikes. I tried to switch AGAIN  and AGAIN it told me i needed to buy a sleeve.

YET ANOTHER WGT GLITCH/CON TO GET YOU TO BUY STUFF.

why do you always try and make people feel like idiots?? Maybe it was a single play event or the player had a good score going on?? Maybe they had a club pass going for xp or maybe they was on say the 15th hole..... either way there is plenty of reasons, to say just quit is ridiculous and just shows you just say anything to get +1 post count.....

Go to your account and see if those credits were actually deducted. If they were, WGT will fix it. If they weren't you're obviously not out anything.

There used to be a bug where you bought the balls but they wouldn't show up until you logged off and back on again. I thought that was fixed. When I buy balls in-game I wait until I see my credits change before going on. Sometimes a slow load will aggravate the situation and you have to wait or reload.

Her history shows 3 purchases of Nike balls in a row.  Right after having made several eagles so I guess the good round going theory could be right.

Jim is right though, I have to give CS credit for always responding quickly and correctly when something like that happens.

I don't, but you may want to feel so.

I posed a simple question, looking for a simple answer.

This is a fool me once, don't fool me twice problem, and, apparently, the player was fooled three times :(

A Champion should know what to do in such case after six years of playing, don't you think? There are situations when you can only lose, so you better quit!

    It's but a game!

And....what if a player has just dropped an ace or back to back double eagles or a record 120 ft. putt ? Just quit anyway ? It's pretty hard to roll over and quit with any of that stuff in the 'kitty' no matter what wgt glitches pop up. I wouldn't quit

Edit: It appears the player was indeed in a single play in CC tourney at the time of the glitch, which in itself is a valid reason to push on with the round. Quitting anything is usually easier than sticking with it and trying to beat it....To each their own I guess.

Oy! I forgot about that part of the bug. You'd click "buy now" and it wouldn't register so you click again. It still doesn't register so you play on or quit. Then you notice you have 6 more balls than you started with back in the game client!  LOL

And the moral of the story? Check your equipment before starting a round.

O.k. - then you make the decision to buy more or to play with Starters. But it's pathetic to come here afterwards and whine and cry for WGT's reply which won't happen as you know after 2,000+ posts.

And the subject looks like WGT assaulted her :(
