    Hope so ;)

It may help you to find the best ways to play the game and avoid the traps. like "long" or "short" situations or unexpected ground conditions.

Most important might be the approaches. Where - to which pin position - do you hit the most successful ways to the holes or close - to the right direction?

If you go that way, it may be equally important to map the clubs, for different shot types and power selections.

No. You do that and you'll wind up with unrealistic expectations. The way this game plays, it's very hard to get the same result every time. The very best thing you can do is learn how your clubs play and then treat every shot as a new problem. By knowing your clubs I mean knowing things like how far they carry in the air, how spin affects that and what happens after the ball lands.

Once you're comfortable with that, take notes like where to land, how a green slopes, how elevation affects a shot and places to avoid. Those kind of notes with what Gary is showing you will go a long way to improving your game.

p.s., Find a ball you like and stay with it. They're not all the same.  :-)
