Club to Boycott Clashes

  We along with a number of other clubs are banding together and are boycotting the clashes.

  We estimate that our clubs are spending in excess of $500 each on balls and passes in an attempt to move up higher in the standings. At the end of the day if we finish 2nd one member receives a dozen balls and the other members get a few passes. In comparison if we finish 99th we receive only a few less passes.

  While we may still participate in the clashes we will not be spending money on passes and only use free balls.

  We feel that WGT would actually generate more revenue if they improved the prizes.

  Good on you and  the other clubs. Every club should protest the clash and not play in it until things are fair for every club regardless of club size.

  So true.  Over and over, folks are buying passes to help out their teams only for a pat on the back after the clashes are over....while the top 1 person receives golf balls.  It’s basically the same payout for like 4th-50 anyway as far as the passes received goes afterwards, so what’s the point of shooting for the stars and reaching the top 3, even number 1, when only one person will benefit.

  12 balls to share within a club is ridiculous.  Why even try?

  in your opinion its beating a dead horse....we see the current format as being in need of a beating.

  WGT I hope you have someone reading all of these posts... it’s spreading like wild fire here on Facebook and Twitter everyone Hates the 1 hole games. Clash payouts are crumbs from your feast, well no more, no more money from me... I will boycott with my fellow club members

  I agree,,I'm Done..Why don't WGT / Top Golf..put some thing else up than othe Clash Games?..No one plays them any more..I think it messes up stroke play games

  #2..When do they clean this game up..like cleaning out their servers..etc?

  Yes sir. Free passes and free balls is only thing I am playing.
