I was playing BPB F9 with championship greens in preparation for next weeks Congressional Finals.

I found the putts extremely slow.  So I took a few measurements and found that the greens were actually regular tournament greens, not championship greens at all.

I agree, definitely not championship speed as I remember them last year. The varying speeds of tournament greens depending on course and game mode, is scrambling my brain. Leaving too many putts inside 10 feet short as a result.

I would have to say that I thought they were Champ speed in the last tourney I played there yesterday. They were definitely quicker than any of the tourney speeds we have played on recently. I only had the one really long putt and that played true to expected speed.

The Legend RG there has the Championship speeds or is that what you're referring to?

If it isn't you can practice them for $1.

It is the Legend RG BPB F9 that I was referring to.  High winds with championship greens.

It appears to me the only playable Championship greens are in RGs?  Not allowed in country clubs, and I've never seen them in free tournaments other than the Oakmont qualifier last year.

This means players who qualified for the US Open (not me) and live in a country or state that does not allow skill based gaming (I'm one of those) are at a bit of a disadvantage in next week's championship rounds.  They can't practice on Champ greens beforehand while others can.

Doesn't sound fair and square to me.

What Infinito said in the OP was that he thought those weren't like real Championship greens. You never forget those speeds. Maybe they aren't to address your point.

But TAP said he played actual Champ greens in another tourney.

Its a good thing I have a mustache or I couldn't remember what I had for dinner last night.

Don't you leg ends play a lot of RGs? Instead of RGs on other conditions, play each one with Champ greens.
