If it isn't you can practice them for $1.

Don't you leg ends play a lot of RGs? Instead of RGs on other conditions, play each one with Champ greens.

Thing is there's just one a day usually, sorta hard to get into a groove.

Then do that thing where you putt up and down the green, aiming for a certain spot.

I guess that's a possibility, I just hate the idea you have to pay a buck to practice.

Ofcourse after just coming off the Oakmont unlimited 9, the greens there are plating pretty much like the Champ greens in the Open.  Should have spent some time there yesterday before I 2 and 3 putted my way to 4 over thru 4 ;)

I really don't see any great value in putting on championship greens round a different course to the one the tournament is being played on. We all know that there are certain putts on each course that play faster, slower than the norm. It is only practicing on each individual course that enables you to become familiar with these nuances.
