How to hit this hole?

  How did i have to count this following hole?

  Tie 188 y

  86 ft down

  nike ball+90 distance 5.00

   

  or same hole with 46ft down

   

  Anyone can help me?

  Chambers Bay #9?

  86 (ft) / 3 = 29 (yds)                  46 / 3 = 15.

  Subtract that from the distance for a basic guess.

  Ok, vielen Dank dir!

  Bei einem Ball Distanz 5.00 dann  17 statt 29 , bzw 9 statt 15 ?

  Finde es schwierig mal addieren, mal subtrahieren je nach Distanz ,Tie oder Fairway

  Rule of thumb is up footage add one half that amount to club distance, while down footage is usually divide by 3 and subtract that footage from club, as alosso stated.

  Alosso got the math right so use that BUT with the elevation being so severely down, the ball is in the air much longer and the wind will affect the shot more. Allow more for wind adjustment.
