ready go green speeds

  can someone tell me why there are no ready go tournaments with 13 green speed.....why do they all have to be 9....like putting on treacle.....not fair for champions that are used to 13 greens.....just my thoughts because i have bad rounds on slow greens lol

  Would be any fairer to the lower tiered players to have RG’s with 13 green speeds??

  Do you know the green speeds before entering the tournament? If yes, there is no equity issue.

  It could only be determined to be unfair if you don't know the rules of the game before entering. But since you know and choose to enter, claims of unfairness lack foundation. 
  
  Hey, I don't like putting on slow greens anymore either. But it's not like you're prevented from practicing on slower greens before entering and playing the RG tournament.

  my point is i should be playing 13 speed...a lower tier should play his speed green.....i said there were no rgs with 13 speed....it wasnt literal.....just there arent many......

  The reason is Mickey that wgt want people to tier up, They want people scoring low to make sure they tier up, also they have to do it so people cant win these events and not punish their averages. Not that it matters as much now as only people that win are champions with low 50 averages but back in the day it would of made sure they tired up. 

  Its the same with brackets, you play a bracket as a legend and your off the red tee's??? again its to make sure you tier up.
