Free flage effects

  Was told I earned a free flag effect bonus and to look for the magic wand in game to apply the effect. My magic wand says a free flag effect will cost 200 credits.

  Are you sure, I was awarded 200 hits and the offer to buy more.

  I finally figured out that was for 200 hits and not credits. What confused me is what WGT announced http://www.wgt.com/golfnews/archive/2018/02/17/rep-your-country-colors-this-weekend-on-wgt.aspx

   

  "We're giving you 100 free hits of this new ball effect just for logging in to WGT this weekend, then you just have to turn on the effect (find the magic wand icon in-game!) and select your country."

  Notice they said 100, not 200. But 200 is what they gave me. I originally thought that was the amount of credits required. But there was no deduction in my account when I accepted that offer.

  I had to select the flag of my choice, now I just see the amount of hits left next to it.

   

  I did, however, submit a bug report after the 3 hits I used.  There is no sound effects when the club hits the ball when it is activated. 

   

  edit**   I too received 200 hits even though the promo states 100 hits.  Big whoop since I won't use it unless they fix the club sound when hitting the ball.  Or I guess I can use it when playing at work since the sound is muted for obvious reasons.  :)

  200 hits but i turned it off after 1 hit. Absolute rubnish IMO.

  I too got the promise but no follow through by wgt. They sent me an email and when I went to get the promise it  said zero effects. Just another ploy to get our money

  I received three effect deliveries this week.

  100 hearts for Valentine, and 100 flags each on Sat and Sun. Wont use these gimmicks though.
