Looks good Ezzy.  Imo it's extremely self explanatory.  My version (JC Snead) has some parts which correspond (with yours) but yours definitely has some elements which I don't incorporate.   Again, the method looks solid.  I'd recommend it to others based on my knowledge and success with the JCMethod, however, truth be told, your SPEED method integrates more information which in theory should have greater potential for success.

At Ken, please, please, PLEASE!!!!, don't start using this method.  So much time would elapse you'd literally need a time machine to back track and hit every shot.  Muahahahahahahahahahahaha  o_^.

LMAO! Nice video Ezzy. For the offset, I typically use an off-ding. Thanks for sharing your video.

Well done Ezzy. Enjoyed the video and your system is pretty accurate!!

One way breaks work pretty well on your calculations. The thorny part on this or any formula is when the you have to deal with a putt with different breaks like the one you had on hole 7. It's not enough to work with how many dots are moving and how many don't because it's crucial to know which is where. For example: The first 2-3 grids influence the putt way more than the last ones. So, i believe these cases are a bit of a feeling putt...

    Very nice try altogether though!

(actually, you missed that putt because the first 2 grids were showing a little break to the right which set up the initial roll of the ball way to the right. And another thing...heavy downhillers need the exact speed in order to take the right path. Speed is crucial on these kind of putts...let the ball roll and build its path to the hole, don't try to force it to the hole)

Thank you Sweet & Yiannis.  I agree with all you say Y ... but maybe that could be good for a follow-up "Advanced" video.

What you have mentioned with the "weight" of the curve skewed where the larger elevation change is ... definitely OP.

Just trying to get a starter method out for the "analytical" minded players out there.

    Cheers,

    Ezzy

Outstanding tutorial! You guys are lightspeed ahead of me on how you approach and play the game.

I'm a miss-ding putter (as Sean can attest) but I actually incorporate some of the same methods you do regarding dot speed and elevation changes, as well as break.  Instead of moving the aiming box though, I miss the ding by a certain amount or percentage.

There's no way I could put miss-ding putting into a spreadsheet.  One day I'm going to have to learn to putt the way its supposed to be done!
