    borntobesting:

    Robert1893:

    borntobesting:
The beginner averaged 3.5 seconds for the full meter travel. The Sabertooth averaged 2.6. That is almost a full second faster, When you factor in the fact that the beginner starts out faster then slows down about a 1/3 of the way through the meter travel and is really moving slowly when it reaches the ding bar it seems even slower. The Sabertooth moves at a constant speed.

I'm not doubting you at all. But that's not my experience on my iPad.

Both putters seem equal. In fact, when I went from the starter putter to the Odyssey Versa, I don't recall there being any issue getting used to the meter. I never noticed a difference.

And for me, the starter putter does not slow down at any point along the meter. Similar to the Sabertooth, for me, it's also a constant speed.

Not the starter. We are talking about the Beginner Putter that I don’t think WGT has anymore. We used to have  3 free putters the starter the beginner and the awful E-Z Swing. Think they only have 2 free putters now.

thanks for the test......i can only say my experience is i had a 98 putter....could not ding it.....my begginner putter seems way slower i ding that.....i believe the starter putter is quicker than the begginners putter

I wish for the ability to shot shape, ie hit fades and draws using full power (ie hitting the ding or slight off ding). Just need a ball with "sidespin" ie, dot moves left/right as well as up/down. Or if you want to go crazy, do like Golf Clash and have clubs with "curl". Weeeeeeeeeeeee.
