  RIP Brian,

  Always responsive in messages, and always time for a joke.

  He will be remembered as a true WGT Legend.

  One of the games real characters, dealt with Brian many times organising our inter matches and played him several times, always put a smile on my face.

  One time Brian called me a mucker and I didn't know what that meant. I had to google it and it said Comrade or friend. He will be missed

  Perhaps he meant the tobacco though.......

  I played one of his club members on Sunday morning and was given the sad news then.  Truly a great loss to the game and of course a much bigger loss for his family and friends.

  Rest in peace Brian, you certainly won't be forgotten around here.

  It's always sad to read about someone's passing here. I didn't know him directly but nonetheless I send sincere condolences to his family, friends and clubmates.

  Calling someone shag was Shov's way of saying you were a close friend! 😉 I really missed him today whilst hacking around St Andrews back 9. Legend has it that he always stores a bottle of merlot in the road hole bunker for any passing Amigo that needs a pick me up. Sadly it was empty today. 😢
