So sorry to hear about Brian.  He is resting in peace now I am sure.

My prayers are with you all.

    Blessings,

    Marion

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Brian. He was one of the good un's. Never one to self exile himself within his cc walls He had views about WGT that the community wanted to read, even the trollers respected his opinion.

Rest in peace, Brian, I hope the WGT Amigo's can continue to thrive as a CC in your absence, heck, you have some good members there, so you were doing it the right way. Hopefully the powers that be in WGT towers can see their way to grant a smooth transition so the CC can continue without too much aggravation.

it would be fitting at this time to let the WGT Amigo's rebuild without nefarious clubs trying to pinch their members. Probably too much to ask. However,  the good CC's wish the Amigo's well and hope they continue to thrive.

    +1000

    I am in shock.

A quality, honest and well respected guy who will be missed by many.

I pass on my heartfelt condolences to all the WGT Amigos and the wider WGT community and to Brian's family and friends.

Steve hit the nail on the head - WGT, work out a way to allow Brian's legacy to continue by transitioning the club to a new owner.

Thanks Steve. We plan to continue the Amigos in the same spirit Brian ran the club with.

    amateur4sure:

I hope WGT find it in there Hearts to aid and assist with the Transition of this great CC in respect to Brian and All that Dwell there.

I've reached out to Icon and Champion - hoping they accept my friend request so I can PM them!

Bery do you know if Brian gave his password to someone in the club?  If so then they could probably transfer ownership over to themselves.

I would like to propose a WGT Memorial Tournament in Brian's honour, similar to the Andyson Memorial.

Before anyone shoots me down, I'm not comparing Brian to Andyson...each of them had a far reaching impact on this game and the players, and each in their own way.

I'm pretty sure WGT wouldn't come to the party in the case of Andyson, so I doubt they will for Brian.

Lets all members get together & make something happen to help preserve the memory of this very deserving man.

    Open to suggestions.

    Maddie :)
