I made a big mistake on Sunday ,I was watching the masters and playing around with wgt  trying different irons,I really like the Callaway and was torn between the two sets the 97 and the 100 ,I rented them the day before and was taking a shot when a something popped up on the screen, rental period over thinking they were the 97s I was playing with and hitting it nice I bought them,

Not thinking I looked after and had bought the 100s,

I have emailed wgt about this and have had to buy the Callaway  97s as well because I traded my Nike's in,

I haven't even used the 100s so hope I can get my money back,

Can't remember a case where they haven't reimbursed a member in this situation.

( and there's been a few over the years )

Paul, if you ask me, level 100 is better. But you have your own decision and preference.

I hope WGT helps to replace the Iron of your choice. If you are lucky, you will get a nice CS Support to do that.

I am sure they will work with you Paul.  Give them a little time.  I love my L97 Callaway irons and bet you will too.  :-)

That would be a definite mistake. These are the ones you should be playing.

    And that's why.  :-)

the 97s have a slower meter but not too slow that you fall asleep, dinging well over 60% with these clubs, all i need now is direction and distance lol

One of the biggest pluses with the 100s that doesn't get talked about much is how they don't lose distance on mishits, just direction. This makes it quite easy to not have to rely on a ding.

In the past, when WGT brought out newer clubs, it used to be Precision and Forgiveness were a trade off. You usually sacrificed one for the other. When the Vapors came out this changed. They increased both attributes and it made quite a difference. The only thing you gain with those 97s is the slower meter. Your own experience has showed you the 100s are easier to play. Stay with them.

You bought the irons you were hitting nice and they turned out to be the 100s but you wanted the 97s. Yup, that makes sense.  :-D
