RVizzle: Don't know if anybody else has thought of this
Yes, it's been brought up several times already, but WGT has ignored this so far.
WGT has a funny way of voluntarily diminishing their revenues. I thought a game that is being developed at the Beta stage would need all the cash they might get, but apparently not. In August, they introduced Master-only equipment, thus rejecting dozens of dollars from me only, not to mention all the other non-Master players on this site.
This gifting feature, too, might help increase their cash flow. There are no clubs for me right now that I'd be interested in buying, but I might very well gift some credits to someone else. But WGT rejects that money from me, too.
(Last.fm and other established web sites are a lot smarter in this regard. It's a matter of course there that you can buy gift subscriptions for fellow site users, old or new. Anything that keeps the money flowing in!)
