That community spotlight hasn't worked to actually highlight good legitimate and current players for many years. There are a lot of old threads about it. Most of the time it pulls cheaters and people who haven't even logged on to WGT recently enough to still have a score posted. If it happens to "spotlight" a legitimate player it's purely random.
