    Since the WGT monthly VT is on chambers, I have tried to find a good strategy or approach on hole one.  crosswind or helping wind definitely helps but what puzzles me is I have played this same hole with high end credit balls with good distance and spin factors and I can rarely get the ball to stop short of the pin on the green without drifting long when I play on the desktop...

    then, the other day on mobile we drew this first hole with comparable winds and T12 greens and I only play a L13 Srixon ball on mobile.  None of my sponsor apparel adds spin to my irons but I do get some extra distance on my irons and possibly a larger sweet spot.  I managed to stop a ball 4 yards short of the pin knowing the ball tends to release and yet, this time it practically stops dead.

    So how is it, my L13 Srixon ball can practically stop on a dime on mobile play without increased spin factors and I can't even get the 975 credit free trial Titliest to hold the front of this green when I land it 5-7 yards short of the pin with full BS anticipating it to drift but not drift 12 -15 yards?

    Granted it is a tough hole to start off with but makes it harder to start 1 shot down if the others are finding a way to birdie this hole to start.

    Any thoughts?  Would be nice to at least have a reasonable look at birdie rather than needing to chip in or have a winding 25 footer past the hole.

    Im just play in PC, i never try the mobile version, so i have no idea, but i trust in what you say....and think this can be due to the mobile version is more friendly in therms of gameplay/difficulty, two main reason, the mobile version are more thinked & played for ''new generations'' & is pretty new in the market...so more easy, aka: more users, the other reason could be the fact of play touching an small screen its no so intuitive as can be play in a PC with a mouse, so more friendly physics due that (& even less realistic also)

    Ofcourse just my suggest & probably just paranoia  :)  (but...who knows)

    @el3n1

    That may have been a really fortunate sweet spot where you happened to land the approach. I can't ever recall having an approach stop short of the pin if on the green. I've had it stop short just before the green, leaving a makeable pitch.

    But if it hits the green, the ball will just keep on rolling. At least, that's been my consistent experience, even with high-end balls, like I'm currently playing.

    In other words, I wouldn't put too much stock in an N of 1. :-)

    If it was in a coin game you might not have been playing from the legend tees.  I’m not sure but the tees you play from in coin games may be random like the green speeds. When they first released it for VUSO in  2015 # 1 was played from either the master or pro tees during qualifying. It was quite easy to stop the ball. So imagine my surprize the first time I played it from the tips and the ball just kept on rolling.

    sounds like it could be a combination of those suggestions.  went back to youtube and looked for videos on chambers and the one shot I saw that stayed up top appeared to be on a forward tee of the VUSO.

    the tees in the mobile coin rooms do vary depending on what stakes you are playing.  the highest 3 rooms I believe are all on the back tees, whereas the three prior to that are Master/TM tees and then the lower stakes I believe are default tees or something like that.  given the growing number of mobile players with high level equipment and sponsor apparel, I avoid any room that puts you on default tees as they are driving greens or hitting wedges while you are hitting long irons into greens.

    Even off the back tees with good winds, the tough holes can become slightly more playable or accessible with the sponsor boosting gear.  So that can effect the shot as you point out.

    it's no different between PC and mobile.

    however there is a narrow landing spot that works out right. ideally you want to land it just off the green for crosswinds and tailwinds. just on the green for headwind.

    Hit the right spot and it will roll up to a decent spot. little long and it rolls forever. little short and it sticks and stops short of green. i hit the right spot about 1/8 times.
