Anyone having good experience with this ball?  already tried 3 sleeves, and couldn’t get them dialed in..I like them a lot because of red vapor, although I’m not having success with them, I would like to try them again. Have not played someone with that ball, can you share? thanks

I can't speak to the 86 TM but my experience with the 81TM is probably close because I'm having the same trouble, especially with long irons into wind. My distinct impression of the ball situation is that the Titleists are the new Nikes and the TMs are downgraded Nikes, specs notwithstanding.

Into wind the change is rather dramatic as these ball (81 TMs) seem to play like they're made of cotton. Headwinds knock them down something fierce and tail winds carry them a ton. These are the exact replacement for the Nikes I used to use and I'm having a bit of difficulty trusting them. Not complaining, just faced with a bit of a learniing twist.

For 100 credits more, no less.  :-(

Thanks YJ for a bit there I thought I was losing my mind. Others were saying they liked them, but for me I have yet to be able to control the ball on landing. The spin rates appear to have been skewed with these balls. With the old nikes I was able to use spin amounts to dial in distances for my irons, I am able to do this with the Titlest balls I have tried but not with the TM's.

Yes, TM L81 are the same as the L86, difference is just vapor. I’m glad I posted this, because no mattter how I tried them, they were erratic, like you said. Oh well, I’ll stick with my Callaways for now, thanks

You might try the L61? A slight step down from the L81 but seems to be consistent for me and 500 credits cheaper. The L65 is the vapor version.

Oops, not 500 credits cheaper...500 credits total for the L61 and 50 credits cheaper than the L81. Good luck with them though.

Think I’ll try one of the Titleist ones, around 700 credits.

Your choice, but those balls are expensive. If the L61 is good enough for guys like sebicu and fmagnets, it's good enough for me :) On the other hand, if you have the credits to burn, find the ball that you love.

I have  a few credits to spare, why not try to them.
