i think they would prefer you to start a new account an repurchase any equipment.. more money and more accounts is better for them

I believe the only thing that WGT will do is to allow you to create a new account. They would then delete the old one. But they've been pretty consistent in saying that they do not and will not allow name changes. You would need to contact customer service. But I'm pretty sure the above is what they'll tell you.
Didnt WGT actually force a couple of players whose name was
vulgar and slipped throug to change their name?
I guess your just going to have to..err.....suck it up, lol (see what i did there?).
Think they let a guy change,who had his girlfriends name incorporated into user name,a couple of years ago...

I have seen many names over the years. Yours has survived 7 years so I would think you might have grown into it. And besides, I can't see any thing stupid in it. But, since WGT is all about making their customers happy, a name change should be easy peasy.
