Damn and i was just about to enter...Its getting to the point you cant trust  anyone to run community run tourneys ..O well...Its like having a kid hear ice cream truck  and speeding off just as he gets close to it

Cubs, you may absolutely still sign up; this season will most likely start on Jan. 1 so before then you will be re-notified of the tourney.

SirMarl, this is totally irrational and you have no reason to say that I am a bad or dysfunctional organizer! My reasoning was that there are a lot of tourneys going on right now; and I am currently in the process of starting a big WGT community website with all types of tournaments, rankings, links, etc. This will take up much of my time for a while and I believe that in the long run, this tournament will turn out better if I postpone it a bit. Signups will re-open in mid-December; and if you can't trust anyone, SirMarl, then don't sign up! And then after the season you can make a rational decision as to my organization skills. I feel I am fully qualified to organize a successful tournament (which I have - see WGT Belt) and my reasons for postponing this make perfect sense. I hope you think twice before you make such comments again merely because a tourney has been postponed for two months.

Sorry Gao  but i still dont see the point of you retraction of tourney...For 1  there is not alot of tourneys running(Ryder Cup and Wga)...2  you started a communtiy tourney list  which is vacated  now   you started the wgt belt tourney   which you vacated ...The records page i like ...Then you want to be ryder cup Captain in wgtls...Then you start this tourney  then postpone it after 5 days cause you say your working on a community website...Make up your mind...How many things do you want on your plate?? and can you handle all and play?

First off, there are many more than just the Ryder Cup and the WGA Tour: there is the WGT Belt, the tourneys created recently by STUDIOSHD, and a dozen tournaments on WGTpoT, as well as the WGTLS Ryder Cup and everything else going on at WGTLS, not to mention the mixed doubles tourney, the Tiger Woods Invitational, and the Presidents' Cup. It's not like we are deprived of community tournaments.

Next, the reason for not continuing the community calendar was nobody would let me know when they were starting a new tournament. This made it very hard to obtain useful information, and there was really no point when major updates took place every day over multiple tournaments and nobody let me know about them. This has happened more than once on WGT.

I left the WGT Belt because at the time, I became very busy and realized I would not be able to put in my fair share of work. That tourney was EllisSpice's from the start, but I would say I was vital in getting many of the players that are currently signed up, and that is, in part, what makes it such a talented and well-organized tournament.

    The Records page: thank you.

You're correct in that I am a candidate for WGTLS Ryder Cup American team captain. However, with five days left to vote, I am six votes behind deserving hbthree - and only sixteen votes have been cast. The odds of me winning are slim to none; and while I hope to become a vice-captain, that will not take up all of my time and I am free to pursue other interests on this site.

Like I said before: I postponed the NGLA with good reason and I'm not sure why you are making such accusations just because it is delayed two months. I do have a fair amount of time available, and I have realized that this section of the forum is very busy and often very dis-organized; and I am merely trying to organize it a bit more, and the best way, I and many of my fellow WGT organizers have agreed, is to create a website. It will, as I said, be very interesting and fun and it will give community tournaments more life! I am not doing too much, IMHO, and if I am, well, I can handle it. The amount of time I put into making this community more enjoyable any way I can is not a reason for you to put me down as an organizer without a fair chance.
