I NEED SOME GOOD ADVICE

  Hi I'm Bob and I just hit my 6th anniversary here at WGT. I'm a Level 104 Champion and I have been having a problem off and on/mostly on for the last few months. I have a smooth meter for every club except the most important 1 the putter. No problem dinging any of the the other clubs but my putter stutters. I have been using the same computer and internet source and the Maxthon 4.4 browser for a few years. I use CCleaner and update my Drivers to optimize my computer This issue has became so frustrating for me I sold my expensive putter thinking it had a glitch in its program. I downloaded a few other browsers with much the same results so now I'm here seeking advice. I was always considered a player with excellent putting skills and now its just a guessing game on how close and which side of the ding my meter will stop on a click.   Hi, I can't cure your problem as I suffer with you. All the same issues with my putting, Last free rental tried several putters, all with the same difficulty. As you mention it started a month or so ago. me to. I was advised to try a different maxthon and a different flash program. So I tried and was completely UN-sucessful, because I really was in over my head. After everything was so screwed up I couldn't even get back to where I started. I was then advised to re-program by going back to a date in my pc history to be back where I started. I did! and what a mess, so many of my programs were wiped out, and I don't know how to get them back. I tell you this as a warning their are players out there in wgtland who can probably help you, but be cautous. my nickle

  Make sure in the game settings that the putting grid is turned off. The putting grid turned on can make your meter stutter when putting and with no other club.

  My putter does exactly the same and my putting grid is turned off. It's the way it's always been and nothing i've tried has fixed it. I've learnt to play with it now and i've become a miss ding putter because of it. It seems to work but not as well as i'd like. It's tough to judge when you need to aim left and miss late on a straight putt just so i have a chance of holing it.

  Which kind of computer mouse?

  If wireless, check the batteries,
  if wired, check the function - any of these may have suffered from age...
