Final Clubs

  Lets say you are lvl 88 and money isn't a issue. What clubs would be best? The last clubs in each of the categories??

  There is no such thing as a best club you got to decide for yourself which you think are the best. It's about what you like i.e. swing speed trajectory or what is more important in your opinion i.e. for me precision is more important than forgiviness.

  For me, as far as meters and everything are concerned:

  TM R11 (L88+) Driver

  TM R11 (L85) 3Wood

  Ping G10 (L59) Irons

  CG 56 degree (L76) wedge

  CG 60 degree (L78) wedge

  CG 64 degree (L80) wedge

  Ping 2010 Redwood (L72) putter

  still need the first two... getting close.  Since they released the R11 fairly recently, I have a shot at getting it before something better comes out.  The better irons have too fast a meter for me.  With the G10s, I am comfortable, and every club save my putter has the same meter, which will continue with the R11s.

  The Burner 2 irons are no faster than the G10's really and are lots more accurate and also stop the ball better.

  Hmm, the Burner 2 meter lists as being 10%-20% faster than that of the G-10s in the specs.  Not accurate?

  Probably accurate, just not noticable.

  Not exactly. They're between the i15s and the G10s and they forgive better. With the way you have advanced I'd say jump all over them and adapt. It'd probably take you about 3-4 rounds to get used to the difference.  The accuracy will knock you out and you'll have more spin than you'll ever need. 

  In answer to the OP, R11 driver and 3W, Burner irons, CG wedges and either the Ghost or the Daytona putter.

  sean,

  if you go to "NEWS" section and scroll down to the write up of "Whats in their bag" it gives you a break down of the clubs used by the 210 quailifiers of the vitual us open. List the clubs used by them and the percentage of those who use them. Might give you a better idea of what you want.
