I remember them all, all 1000 of them. Some were shaving the hole, some in the water, some meter jumps(95% total score),lost in the weeds, out of bounds, heavy handed putting, total misreads,awkward bunkers,sidewinds, headwinds and general f*c* ups but today I reached that memorable milestone of 1000 double bogeys. 11th hole at Royal St.Georges will stick in the memory forever.
The hassle of getting there was not for the faint hearted, long hours of dogged resistance of missing putts and shots all over the place turned into weeks then into months of Tourettes induced screaming at the screen but I finally made it. WHERE IS MY AWARD ?
