Go into Edit Your Equipment, click on Meters, and click on the meter you want to use.

I new to the app.  What's a "meter" and how is it used.  I see it on all the balls I looked to purchase.

You should always check the posters equipment in these situations K7, she has an EZ swing 3 wood which needs to be swapped out for the Starter 3 wood.

Actually I think you got it backwards. She said she doesn’t like the drag and click meter and wants the click and drag meter back,  The click and drag meter sounds like the E-Z swing meter.

Sure the E-Z Swing clubs are garbage but some people like them because they don’t have to worry about hitting the ding,

    Welcome aboard.

The "meter" is the section showing how much power you are using when the club head is pulled back to hit the ball.  When you release, the line on the meter moves right and you try to click/tap etc., when the line aligns with the desired hit point.  Hitting this line (dinging the meter) results in the best hit for distance and direction.  Missing either side sends the ball in that direction, usually with less distance.

The meter number you see on the ball attributes reflects relatively how fast the meter moves when using that ball.  The higher numbers (up to 5) mean the meter moves slower; lower numbers mean it moves faster.  Slower is better for timing, but the balls cost more - sometimes a lot more!

I suggest you click the link for How to Hit the Ball in the FAQ section.
