I’ve played someone few times this week, and I know I won all of it, thinkin back, he forfeited on all times. Played him again today, and there was no record of win or loss.

As soon as he drove it in the rough, he forfeited. Well, my point is, when you forfeit,  I don’t think it records it as a loss. I guess that’s very important to them.

I also played a L200 Champion, David Shamn or something ( Korean Flag ) also forfeited on the last putt..there’s got to be something else behind these forfeitures..need more research.

Also, when you greet them before teeing off, and no response..player most likely is a forfeiter.

Playing with strangers is like a box of chocolates ..  Consider joining a CC and you wont have to worry about people forfeiting .   Or just play with friends

I have sent you a friend invite will play alt shot with you any time we are both on. I don't belong to a cc either as most are a waste of time.

    See you on the course:)

Playing random people certainly is a lottery.  However, having CC friends is good but only if they're active and will be around when you want a game.

I've had a few great games with strangers and made a few new friends that way.  I've also met those knob ends who quit as soon as they hit a bad shot.

I don't get what the appeal of a good win/loss ratio is.  The bragging rights earned by that are surely only important if you're a pretty pathetic individual.

been having this myself last few days, being relatively new to this game I kind of have to be careful how I conduct myself. but personally I have only dced from a match on two occasions and that was due to to internet going down.

Personally i cant stand people quitting or forfeiting, have played many higher ranks and most of them have been decent but there has been the odd one that wont accept a negative experience whether its a bad shot or a bad score period.

Personally this is how I see it, if you need to dc because you dont play well then you dont deserve your tier and you got it by min maxing, true good players progress through tiers regardless of whether you play well or bad, just my two cents sorry if offend any decent players.

There are still few players that I get matched with regularly. I’m hesitant in joining CC, I just don’t like playing by myself, like Clash games.

I play AS every night, either with WGT strangers (legend and above) or my club members. Legend and above, I don't usually have a issue with quitters or rude people. With my club members we use discord which makes the game even that much better. More fun to talk than it is to type.

    win/loss means nothing.

no one but the player themselves can see their monthly win loss record.

the win/loss record between you and a specific player than you see when you play them again in a coin roon is 95% of the time wrong. (it's usually backwards).

The win/loss record between two players that created their own 3 hole or 9 hole games is the only thing that is usually accurate. but this isn't what you are talking about.

i rarely forfeit myself. ( probably less than 20 times in thousands of matches). But that being said i don't care if someone else does.

why do you care if someone forfeits or not? I don't understand the angst.

It's only annoying if instead of actually hitting forfeit they close out the app on their phone or tablet. then you have to wait out timers and may end up with the bugged result where you don't win coins and in some cases lose them.

but anyway. we are talking about actually hitting forfeit. Why does it bother you?

I guess it's the ones who quit when well into the game that are most annoying.  While they obviously haven't actually done any harm, you were looking forward to completing the game.  If it's alt shot then that's no longer an option.  Even in straight forward stroke play it's annoying to have it happen.

They've wasted your time, sort of, and you never get that back.

The next two people that commented on your post are both in a CC (as am I) that do not force anyone at any time to play solo (be it a clash or whatever).

As was mentioned, we use discord to both set up alt shot or other matches and chat away rather then type during a round.  For some of our members, that is all they do in the CC.
