Tiers??

   Hello,

  The other day I'm pro tier avg 74, pretty steady for a few weeks.  All of a sudden my avg starts dropping every game it seems, and I'm tour pro. Ok I think, I've gotten a little better, I had bought a couple clubs, my meter is working better. Then 5 days later, today, I advance to master?? How could I have played enough ranked rounds for that, I play 99% match play. I think I've only played one tourney per tier. What gives?? Do I play too much? Did buying some clubs indicate I want to buy more?

  On October 23rd you won several match play vs. higher tiered players. That will also cause you to advance in terms of tier. So now you’re a Master. Tees will be further back and your average gets reset as soon as you play your first round in your new tier. Keep on truck’in! You’re doing fine.   With one ranked round (RG of 40) between Pro and Master, it all comes from the match wins against higher tiers. Didn't you notice that your average dropped all the time?

  You get to TP with a Pro average of 72.0. If you play a ranked round then, this score (x2 for nine holes) will be the starting value in the new tier. But, when you continue with matches only, the (Pro) average drops further from the wins, shortening the distance to 67.00 and Master.

  I remember another case where this happened. It's a fairly unknown shortcut.

  BTW: You may continue to Tour Master @63.00.

  BTW2: I don't know how the one RG score fits into the picture.
