    WGTChampion:
I remember pmm telling me he liked that course.

He must've said this while y'all were in Atlanta. He was a tad inebriated.

    WGTChampion:
Feel free to recommend other courses you like more for future rounds.

Every course on WGT.....except Chamber Bay. Just not a good fit for my Cally ball unless I have perfect wind set, zero VEM, and lots of luck :-)

Just because it's not my favorite doesn't mean I won't play it, though. I'm a glutton for punishment.

I do like the single play format, though.

LOL, Jay. It will depend on how you define a perfect wind set.  If you do like heavy crosswinds ...  that's your event!

I am enjoying the round ...

@WGTChampion:  Thanks for setting this up and keeping us folks entertained. I do appreciate it.

Gee, thanks for the Mobile update prior to round 1 - an oh-so-WGT way to uneven things up a bit.

Thanks Champ, for setting this up! Great track this morning, trying to keep pace with Simon and Bink's is going to be a huge chore, but will give it my all, lol!

    Best of luck everyone!

While the vodka was doing the thinking and talking for me I do believe I told Champ that I hate everything about CB...especially the huge greens with postage stamp landing areas.

Merion...my brother, Andy (RIP bro, I miss you), and I caddied/played there in our youth and have been in 85% of the homes seen during play for various BBQs, parties, and things that teenagers just nodded "yes" to and said "Thank you Lord" afterwards for that divine intervention.  Putting there in RL makes the game seem so simple. AHHHHHHH...drives me nutso.

You and me both Jay and I even entered with my free rock.  I'll donate to the eventual winner who sure as hell won't be me.

The ONLY way to fly.  ALL big WGT tourneys should be this way.  I'm loving this format.  It might get me to start practicing and taking the game seriously.  Now I'm off to Hack up this round 1.

RESULT: Shot a 68 with the rock...should have been better considering these 2 beauties...

    A HIO on #9...go go go...ahhhhhhh

Psst re PM, Champ: Relented and opened the purse strings. Always happy to increase the eventual winner's coffers.  :)

Same as Pmm for me, 68. This being as good as it got.

Like the elimination concept with the previous round not counting towards the next one.

Also like the single play format.

Next time could you limit it to players that reside in the UK, whose wgt name starts with a 'W', ends with a '0', and have a real-life name beginning with the letter 'J', thanks.

    Cheers for hosting.

    :)

Not that hard, I tried to play with the gifted WGT balls and it went rather badly. Hope I'll still make it through to the next round :) Great idea for a tournament!

Great format for Tourney Champ.  Now I just need to learn not to bogey.  No bogies and I shoot 59/60, but nooooooooooooo, end up at 65.  And they were for the most part stupid misses.  Think I had chances at 5 or 6 eagles, think I made one.
