I was told I have a loft problem. I read everything I could on this and still it made no difference. It was then I realized it had nothing to do with my putter it meant. LOFT -- Lack Of Fu----g Talent.

    caupo70:

For the Starter putter, does anyone know what the distance is for each grid square?  I'm curious.  Is it 2 feet / 3feet?  It would be good to know.

For all players the grid is 2ft x 2ft

    Cheers,

Help I'm dying here on short, fast-breaking putts! I understand the dots on the grid tell how large a break and how fast the break is---but I can't seem to make short puts,(4' to say 8") that break quickly.  If there is a "trick" a method I can't seem to get it. Suggestions??

    thanks

Try a bit more on the meter, to make the ball go faster. The faster the ball, the straighter it will go.

The putting has been killing me in this game since I started, really.  I'm at 'legend' status, and tee-to-green I do pretty well.. but no one misses more 6-10 foot putts than me, and I'm good for at least 1 or 2 violent lip-outs a round.   I almost putt better from 15-20 feet.   Definitely the most frustrating part of this game for me.

"legend" sounds impressive! How many ratings are there? Not sure if it makes me feel better or worse that you still have trouble at your level with the short putts too. :-)  I seem to get closer,at least I'm starting too, from the 15' range also. If I can get with in 4' or less I have a pretty good shot at making it. I finally have my putt avg. under 2 so I'm pleased with that.

Thanks for the encouragement and keep on swinging!

Have to ask, does anyone else experience ups and downs as much as I do?  I will have many nights were absolutely nothing goes in, and the next night I make everything!  It's actually pretty frustrating.. Is it me?  Maybe the alcohol kicks in quicker on some nights?  It is all or nothing for me most of the time on the greens...
